Amanda Doxtator – Indigenous Awareness: History, Self Care, Self Love!

Amanda will be sharing a brief history of the Indigenous people in Canada, teachings on self-care practices and how to be an ally. At the end of the session, Amanda will be gifting the group with a teaching about smudging ceremonies and the medicines that are used!

Amanda Doxtator comes from the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation and is a member of the Turtle Clan. She is an active participant, advocate, and teacher of the traditions, songs, and spirituality of the Haudenosaunee – People of the Longhouse. Amanda has over 20 years experience in the helping field (healing and social work).
